Hi all! Right before I left for Rome, I got a nasty cold. While that didn’t stop me from walking around for 11 hours a day, it didn’t much help the cold. Once I got back it hit me pretty hard so it kept me away from SL for a while. Speaking of Rome - that was super fun and I uploaded 176 pictures here.

Me and colds don’t get on well at all. I have what’s called TMJ where my jaw joints are swollen and press up against the insides of my ears. It’s what I like to call my generation’s ulcer. Stress = grinding teeth = jaw and ear pain. So what does this have to do with colds? Well… you know how most little kids get ear infections very easily because they have small ear cannals? Same thing happens when joints press up against them. Whenever I get a cold all congestion goes into my ears. Fucking painful if you ask me. It actually makes sitting up very difficult. So you just lie on the couch watching crap tv waiting until you can go to the doctor. I never thought I’d ever say this, but I really wish I’d get a stuffy nose again. At least that way I’d sound like I had a cold.

Since I’m all better now, I’ve been doing shop things. Which is as follows:

I’m having the sale just.. because. Perhaps a bit of holiday spirit has filled my anti organized religion heart after the awe inspiring Sistine Chapel. Who knows. It ends the 11th of Dec when I’ll put out new stuff before I leave for the states on the 12th. Don’t think that needs further explination :P

Automated Gift Cards / Store Cards:
I now have an easy way for you to spread the holiday cheer by giving your mates poses. It was always a tricky decision to have my stuff as copy/no tran but with how fucked up SL can get with items most put in objects, I figured it would be the least headache for everyone.

How does it work? It’s pretty easy. You buy a card and give it to a friend. They come to the shop, “wear” the card, pick out what they want, and then choose “card” instead of “buy” from the pie menu.

The only issue at this time is that it only works for boxed items and NOT with the individual vendors. The very nice person I bought the system from is working on it and should be fixed in about a month. I’ll let you all know when it is working. But on the plus side, if the item they want costs more than whats on the card they can easily just pay the remainder.

As a bonus, anyone in my update group (reel expression update) will get a L100 discount when buying the cards. You need to activate the group while purchasing and say a L800 gift card will cost you L700!

Individual Pose Vendors:
When you enter the modeling poses section, you’ll see a lot more vendors! To the right of each pose set, I’ve put those poses into it’s own vendor. I realized a couple of months ago that clicking through 190 poses was perhaps more of a nightmare then most people want.
