I made some new shoe poses for the 2009 Footwear Expo.

From now until Dec 6th they will only be available at the shoe fair (TAXI) where a percentage of everything sold goes to toys for tots. After the 2nd, it will be in my main store.

    Hi,

I know this is off-topic from your Blog post, but I have recently purchased Poser, to try and create content in Second Life.

I have discovered that it wasn’t all point and click for creating animations and poses and that there is a bit of a learning curve.

I then went searching the web for tutorials on Poser, specifically those geared towards Poser in Second Life. And I literally googled that subject until I was blue in the face. There is so little content out there about Poser in general, I’ve found.

Until I came across your tutorials. The best detailed, and easiest to follow. I was excited to learn and get going until I went to continue and realized that they were not all completed. A big disappointment.

I hate to be a pest, but I am curious (and sort of hopeful) if you might be finishing them any time soon? They would be a huge help, to not only myself, but I’m sure to others as well.

If you do not feel like you will complete it, do you at least have any recommendations on some good Poser to SL, detailed tutorials?

    I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks!

    Hi Rene.

Happy you enjoyed the tutorials. I write them when I’m creatively blocked along with a zillion other things I find to occupy my time.

I will be finishing them, just have no idea when. The 3rd one - which is probably the one you are most looking for - is about 1/2 way done. I’ll see if I can’t get that out soonish.

The simple and dirty explanation is to click on a limb and move it via the parameter dials. It really just takes a bit of practice.

Start with the hips, then move everything else how you want it. Then go to file -> export -> bvh animation. Click on “scale automatically.” Save. Import into SL -> for a pose click on the loop box and set the priority to 4.

As for other detailed tutorials, I’ve never seen any. Which is why I’m sloooowwwwwlllllyyy writing them.

    Cheers
    Luth
